They came and ate cake!

Wed 04 Oct 2017

Last Friday was the annual Macmillan Coffee Morning, and our staff took part to raise a cracking £121.00 to donate to the fantastic charity.

Now known as the worlds largest coffee morning, the event at our office was one of hundreds put on across the UK, at the same time. Staff had baked a mountain of various sweet treats - from cupcakes and sponges, to cheesecakes and biscuits.

In return for a modest donation, anyone coming into the office last Friday was welcomed with a tea or coffee and a slice of whchever cake they fancied! Surely this should be a weekly ritual, right?!

In all seriousness, the Coffee Morning raises thousands of pounds for cancer sufferers each year, so we were delighted to play our small part in the day.

Huge thanks go to our Senior Administrator, Margaret Medlock, who spent weeks planning and organising the event - as well as haranguing our contractors for donations when they came into the office!!

Lets do it all again next year!

"David and Rosie at Lovett, went above and beyond to assist in the completion of our chain. I Cannot recommend Lovett enough, their hard work ensured I got my dream home, against all the odds, they also updated me regularly throughout the process. Would highly recommend."
