We wanted to express our concern to those tenants and landlords affected by the closure of Kirby Property Management in Cambourne. Our advice to tenants would be to stop any standing orders or direct debits to the managing agent as soon as possible. Then aim to contact your landlord (details should be on your tenancy agreement) to arrange your rent payment directly with them.
We understand that the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) will be writing to affected tenants to inform them of thier next steps, however if your deposit was registered with the TDS, it should be protected, if you submit a claim within 90 days of the TDS writing to you.
