Lovett’s Use Pedal Power for Woodlands Fundraiser

Mon 16 May 2016

Two of our staff at Lovett Sales & Lettings are cycling across 4 countries in 4 days to raise thousands of pounds for the new Macmillan Woodlands Centre at Hinchingbrooke Hospital, Huntingdon. Directors Tim Lovett and Anthony Charters are being joined by their Maintenance Contractor Steve Orr, in cycling around 400 miles from London to Amsterdam in July. Tim tells us “As a family-owned business that’s been in St Neots for over 30 years now, we have a strong interest in supporting our local community. Macmillan has touched the lives of many of our friends, clients and staff over the years – therefore we were keen to lend our support. The Woodlands Centre is a vital local service - one that you hope you’ll never need, but one that sadly needs to expand. As such I would encourage all local businesses to do what they can to help with the appeal. “

The new Macmillan Woodlands Centre will increase capacity and will bring to an end patients’ current experience of often cramped conditions, not always having the privacy and dignity they deserve and sometimes having to travel to other hospitals for treatment.

"Service was outstanding and David always very helpful. We would not use anyone else."
