How we handle the Three D’s – Death, Divorce & Debt

What do you think of when you imagine an estate agent? Sharp suits, shiny pointy shoes and cheesy patter?

Or is a slick bordering on smarmy approach that’s smoother than an oily dolphin? At Lovett Sales & Lettings we pride ourselves on being different. More approachable, friendly and sensitive to whatever our client’s needs are.

These attributes are very important if the reason the property is being sold is due to death, divorce or debt.

During the 35 years we’ve been running our agency we’ve had many people get all manner of things off their chest during valuation visits.

People from different backgrounds, with different problems and concerns. But with one thing in common, the need for a low profile, genuinely caring and sensitive service.

The attributes I mentioned above are often called upon when we are dealing with sales caused by the reasons I’ve highlighted in the headlines. For us it’s more important to listen than to talk because that’s the way we find out what clients really want and how we can help them.

Good estate agents know there’s more to this business than simply selling homes – you also have a responsibility to look after people and care for them as best you can.”

Thanks for reading and if you have any property related questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us – we’d love to help you.

"I have always found Lovetts to be very responsive to any concerns I have. The monthly statement and my rent are always produced on time and they send out an annual statement for tax purposes which is invaluable. Of the 4 letting agents I have used over the past 10 years Lovetts are by far the best!"
