Local Lettings Market Goes From Strength to Strength

Over the past 3 months we've experienced unprecedented demand for rental properties - a trend that doesn't seem to be slowing any time soon! The number of applicants looking to rent a property in our local West Cambridgeshire area has rocketed since the General Election.

With demand far outstripping supply, our Lettings Negotiators are doing a sterling job to manage the huge number of enquiries we receive on a daily basis. As a result, we are also seeing average rents creeping up across the region. One other noticable pattern has been an increase in people moving to the area from other regions - taking up jobs primarily in Cambridge, London and the immediate locality.

Whether this surge will continue remains to be seen, however whilst the national housing shortage remains, it is a safe bet that the lettings market will remain extremely strong for the forseeable future.

"I've been a landlord for 9 years and always found Lovetts to provide me with good honest advice and excellent all round service keeping me informed and the same can be said for their sales team who have recently sold my property. Highly recommend."
